A Shabbat dish consisting of calf’s foot jelly, called p’tcha or šaltiena in Lithuania and galarita, and galer or ‘Galleh’ in other parts of Europe, where this name has become popular amongst Jewish communities globally. Contains: water, beef gel (from bones, 19%), garlic, spices and salt.
